HAIKU AS SPIRITUAL PRACTICE

This workshop will provide an opportunity to appreciate and write classic haiku within the context of a traditional Zen retreat. The event will be designed for practising Buddhists and people interested in Buddhism, meditation, talks, walks, composition and discussion.
 
Led by Ken Jones, a much-published haijin and leading exponent of the genre.
 
Non-competitive and supportive - and a unique opportunity!
 
Ken Jones is a Zen teacher and writer of many years standing. His haiku and haibun appear regularly in specialist journals, plus his three published titles. He is a co-editor of "Contemporary Haibun" and has been awarded the Sasakawa prize for his contribution to the genre.
